"I love teaching. I believe we are constantly learning about ourselves and our development, and enriching the development of those who surround us (our children)."
Jackelin has a passion for education, especially early childhood education and the arts. She received her AA in early childhood education from Gavilan College in 2006, and in 2018, completed a Bachelor of Arts in studio art practice with an emphasis in education from San Francisco State University. After completing a Master Of Fine Arts degree in sculpture at San Jose State University in 2022, she continued her career as an educator and school administrator. Jackelin’s enriched experience includes working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, and adults.
Jackelin is proud of her Mexican heritage, culture, and language. Joining Kids Speaking Spanish is a way for her to feel connected to the community.
