Mariamelia has over 12 years of teaching experience and has been a Director for over seven years. She joined KSS Immersion School of Albany as a Director in December 2018. Mariamelia received her AA Degree in Early Childhood Education at Chabot College, Hayward.
She was born and raised in Peru. She moved to Italy when she was 16 years old and lived there for over 6 years. Mariamelia experienced first hand the benefits of language immersion and speaks multiple languages including Spanish, Italian, and English. She is the mom of three beautiful children. When not working she enjoys being with her family and cooking for them.
