KSS Immersion Schools opens the door to discovery through its Spanish Immersion Summer Camp. Serving children in preschool and kindergarten at five locations throughout the Bay Area, KSS provides cultural exploration in a fun learning environment. The top reasons for young children to attend KSS Summer Camp include socialization, structure, skill development, exercise, and Spanish language immersion.
Socialization
Summer camp allows preschoolers and kindergartners the opportunity to interact with other children and learn the value of working together as a group. By socializing with others, children learn how to develop important skills, such as problem-solving and sharing.
Structure
The fast track from spending days at home with a parent or caretaker to the first day of school can intimidate youngsters. Summer camp provides children with a transitional introduction to following a schedule. It also fosters a sense of independence and responsibility, as kids learn the value of organizing and managing their lunchboxes and other belongings.
Skill Development
Summer camp provides children with the chance to interact with others and develop skills through hands-on activities. KSS Summer Camp encourages curiosity and helps build confidence and self-esteem. By trying new things in a supportive environment, youngsters can explore their interests and talents.
Exercise
A sedentary lifestyle poses serious health risks, including weight gain, loss of muscle strength, weakened immune system, and poor blood circulation. KSS Summer Camp offers an ideal solution for limiting screen time. Kids also enjoy multiple activities throughout the day that allow them to exercise and explore the outdoors.
Spanish Language Immersion
The KSS Spanish Immersion Summer Camp opens the door to cultural exploration through a fun learning environment. Activities are specifically designed for children between 2.5 years and those on the precipice of beginning first grade.
Guided by native-speaking maestras, each summer session immerses children into a travel-themed adventure, exploring Spanish and Latin-American cultures. Our cultural immersion camps provide fun adventures through small-part exploration, storytelling, music, art, and outdoor play.
We also offer flexible registration options to accommodate your summer schedule. Camp begins June 3, 2024, and runs through August 2, 2024.
